Corcoran Contracting T/A Peter Corcoran

Do not hire this person who is NOT a contractor. He almost ruined my 1880 farmhouse kitchen, but we realized it too late and had to demolish everything he worked on with his unskilled laborer. We are out 10K and he is not willing to acknowledge his error and return our advance. WE MADE A HUGH MISTAKE and will NEVER do that again.

It was quite a few years ago now, but I always wanted to be kind and not hurt his business. But as time goes on and I see how other people have gotten screwed, I think it’s only right that I post a review. You have to know that this was the worst contracting company we’ve ever dealt with. Basically, they are a scam. Mr. Corcoran subcontracts to completely incompetent people. Amazingly, they worked on our roof and our attic, the job was completely screwed up and we had to have it done all over again. Worse than that, huge rusty nails from the roof were found all over our property and in our trees. To this day, almost 10 years later, when we have a heavy wind large rusty nails still fall out of our trees. With children and dogs, I am just appalled that anyone could do business this way. We tried to contact him, of course, to have them come back and clean up the property but you could never find him. In time we attempted to sue him, but he ran. He made sure that no one could find him. He went incognito, coward that he is. Bottom line, protect yourself and never use this company or trust Peter Corcoran.

I am often one to write positive reviews, but I can't even to begin to explain how unprofessional and frustrating this company has been to work with. We had our roof repaired from Peter in the fall and are still waiting for him to get in contact to complete the job. There is a huge gap in the attic of our home from an incomplete job which he has yet to address or reply to. His workers left nails and other forms of debris all over our driveway, in the trees and bushes, etc and would not have done anything about it had we not complained endlessly! Now he will not return calls or emails, certified mail, etc and it seems we will be taking legal action. I do not suggest anyone using this company for anything.
