Can we say FRAUD???
Chad tried to pull the old bait and switch by us agreeing to his quoted price then he later back stepped wanting to charge $900 to $1,800- more for patching nail holes he previously agreed he would do. Chad gave my wife and I some sob story how he's lost money on painting jobs from under bidding and the same would apply to our home now that he thought he had earned our business. Since we were hiring Chad based his quoted price, we were not willing to pay the additional cost for work he originally quoted. Chad tried to pawn off the patch work on me to do myself which didn't sit well with us.
Chad also wanted to charge us for paint samples he offered to get for us but we never received. He was once again being dishonest by trying to slap us with an additional charge for something he originally offered to us with no mention of cost. After all of Chad's back stepping and lack of transparency my wife and I decided to take our business else where. Chad became verbally abusive and threatening towards me once I told him we were no longer going with his company.
