Coventry Workshop

I'm prefacing my remarks by stating that I'm old and that I love old houses. Most of my adult life has been spent in such places and, as a result, I've had many occasions to consult handymen, remodel contractors and woodworkers -so I consider myself a pretty good judge of such folks.

Since moving to my present location 11 years ago, I've dealt with Ken and Coventry Workshop often. They have remodeled my old kitchen (or de-modeled it) back to its older footprint, mounted an old #2 cast iron (heavy!) school bell on a 7 foot post and managed to hang a large salvaged cabinet on a 200+ year old log and plaster wall! In short, no task has seemed too daunting.

I have always been billed fairly, work has been done in a timely way, quality of work has been great and altitude always professional. As an added bonus, Ken has shown me how to tackle some projects myself - he's a great teacher! The workshop is my go to place for future projects.

Ken gave me hands-on training and let me assist with our kitchen demolition / remodel. He even taught me how to cut tile and lay an entire tile floor! He taught me to use tools I normally would never touch. I learned an enormous amount from him.

What’s more, Ken helped with measurements and had wonderful design suggestions that we used when working with the retailer where we bought our cabinets.

We can’t wait to start the next home project with Ken and have ecommended him to family and friends.

In addition, my mother-in-law always calls Ken for projects / repairs in her historic home. She trusts anything he does will be quality work and will also maintain the historic look of her home.
