We recently bought a remodeled home and were distraught when we found several pipes backing up. After spending hundreds on another company simply cleaning the line out, Coxs decided first and foremost to send a camera down the line. They discovered an aged pipe leading out to the street was the root cause.

They explained our options and despite us thinking this was going around 10k unexpected expense, they charged us 1/3 of what we were thinking.

They were thorough, communication for the job was excellent and turn around was less than 4 days. Everything about this ordeal was terrifying being new homeowners and discovering a potentially costly major repair upon moving in, but Coxs made us feel happy we tackled it early and their guarantee made it a no brainer.

Had a leaky pipe in my basement. Coxs got me in quickly. Their plumber came and diagnosed the problem. When he returned, he explained what he was going to do, and let me and my nephew watch what he did as he explained. He was done within an hour and he even cleaned up the mess after we told him that we would do it. Super nice. Will be doing all of my plumbing issues with them.

Best experience working with these guys. Incredibly polite and professional. I hired them to replace a section of galvanized pipes running to the guest shower that had rusted shut. They replaced the pipes with copper and were done in half a day total. Price was very reasonable and was more than competitive with other companies. I really needed a reputable HVAC company because my regular AC Tech was on vacation and in the middle of Summer, my outdoor unit stopped working. I came across Coxs Old Colony HVAC and made the call. I didn’t know it at the time but I was speaking to Bill, who is the owner! I no longer have just an AC Tech who just does side jobs but rather an entire company!

I called Cox’s last week for a PM on my heater since winter is coming and they sent a great guy over to do that. Yesterday we had the duct cleaning and another tech did a great job. He came in, explained the job and paper work and he got started. He left everything clean!

My basement was full of water in the morning and my Son’s birthday party was scheduled for evening. We called and had a plumber from Cox come over that same day. The technician made it out to my house within 2 hours after I called. He stopped the water in a matter of seconds and was very knowledgeable and professional. He cleaned up afterwards; I wasn't left with a mess. They saved my day Thank you so much.

Cox's old Colony Plumbing has been great to work with. They are very thorough and responsive. Appointments were easy to make, and they were on time for all of them. We hired them for repairs in our master bathroom, and were very happy with the work done, so we had them back to complete more work on the exterior of our house. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic experience working with Bill and his team at Cox's. I called to get a quote on a new AC unit and had it installed 1 week later. The installation looks great, they were very considerate of my outdoor plants and cleaned up the area where they worked. I'm very happy now that it's cool in my house and they even showed me some tricks for keeping my split level house cooler during the hottest months. Very pleased and would recommend!

Hello, I enjoyed working with this HVAC contractor. I'm in south Boston and don't have to tell you how cold it is in the winter. we have a maintenance plan with Cox's to protect us against anything going wrong with our heating. Only had to use the plan once last winter, turned out a switch had worn down, they fixed it fast and the heat was restored. Thanks guys!

This is the single most unpleasant experience with any repair service that I have ever encountered. They are dishonest in their appraisal of the problem. Once a new problem arises, they are impossible to reach. I am shocked that this company is still in service. I would strongly advise patrons to avoid this place of business.

Cox is great. They have taken care of our AC system for years. When my air would not cool properly this summer, I called Cox for help. They came and checked it out and found that I needed Freon. Once they filled that back up, it was nice and cool again. Thanks!
