This company gave me the worst problems. They actually were contracting for Time Warner so when the cable guy shows up and I see this guy who is not even with Time Warner, I'm like what the heck is this?? So I go ahead and allow him in to install my cable. And I was told by time Warner that the technicians would not be moving any furniture.

So I am sitting there watching him install my cable and all of a sudden, I see him take a Ceramic potted plant that was in the way, and drag it across my 6,000 dollar Travertine tile floor. It left a huge scratch. When I called the company to report it, they said okay we will take care of the floor, please provide us some estimates, from contractors of your choice, and we will pay you the damages to get it repaired.

I was very busy at the time, and the guy from their company would keep bugging me every other day, leaving me voicemails. And I'm like please I am trying to get estimates, but every person I talk to is saying that travertine is rare, and hard to find matches, and recommending I spend like 6,000 to just get that area of the floor replaced.

So finally I did get claims- 3, and when I took them to the company, after already saying that they would pay for damages, I receive a letter from Duane Norris, the General manager, if not the owner of the company-I'm not sure. And he says "After a thorough investigation, we find that no liability exists on our part" and denied my claim, after already approving it and asking me to spend all my time getting quotes.

So then I realized I had to sue him, and I took him to small claims court. he refused to mediate to resolve at first, and then when he finally did agree, he gave us ridiculous offers, 300 dollars to cover the damage his contractor caused, 2nd offer 600. What a slap in the face! After all the stuff his company put us through. Well when mediation didn't work, we were left with no other choice but to take is to trial, and we were awarded 4,500 dollars!

Well we waited our 30 days to be able to collect and on the 29th day of the wait process, he files an appeal, because he still does not want to own up to the damages his contractor caused us. I am currently as I am writing this it is 9 months later, and I have still not been able to fully enjoy the new house I moved into because there is still the big gash acrossed my floor.

I am confident our justice system will prevail, but wanted to get the word out to anyone, that Duane Norris and his Creative communications, is a sheister, and run by a sheister, I would not trust him as a person, or do business with him as a company. There are so many different installers out there to choose from. Why go with one who ripped us off hiring subpar contractors to do his jobs, and then refusing to take any responsibility and fighting all the way, even after representing a big company like Time Warner, making Time Warner look bad as he is doing their installations and did a horrible job.
