I called K & B for an estimate on a large project of refinishing our basement. After speaking to the lady on the phone the owner Dave came on the line and was very rude. He stated that since he was not awarded a prior job of replacing our windows (which we ended up doing ourselves) why would he have any interest in bidding on a new project for us. K & B had done projects in the past for our family so it is not like they have not made tons of money off of us. I guess they have to many other jobs that they feel they can give work away to other contractors that would b happy to do a 60,000 dollar project for us. I would never hang up on a potential customer and speak to them in such a horrible tone. Wow. What happened to customer service. Dave surely needs a lesson!

The worst experience ever. This is my opinion based on my experience with this company. They sub the majority of the work out . Subs on my project were butchers!. Demo crew disabled my electric by cutting wires to lights and appliances rather than turn off breakers. Left home with AC and freezers off . Left to fix problem myself. The work they do them self is sub standard. They lack any skill set for wood working . Had to spend thousands of dollars to have crown,window and door trim replaced. Ended up in court . Found out they had over charged me several hundred dollars . Stick with the big box stores .
