Builder does not respond to owners with issues as stated in their ads. I have had to fight with representatives of Creekside over site visits, lot prep and grading, ditches that were not supposed to be there, wrong appliances, shortage of required sod, and many smaller issues. Some issues have been resolved after repeated complaints, showing of e-mails from the sales agent, and measuring the size of the lot. Some issues have not been resolved. Buyer beware and make sure you record everything, ask for e-mails on everything and go over the final product with a fine tooth comb. Not the experience I expected for my first new home.

First, let me start off with, the house they build is Beautiful quality is there. Promises made not kept. Respect for owners? Not really. Before my house was built their realtor made adding mistakes for the upgrades. I was going to pull the sale and their realtor and my realtor offered to pay me each $350.00 to cover the % difference at the close of my house so that I would keep the sale because I had to get a higher loan amount. I chose to upgrade my d/w to stainless steel inside out for $650.00 more on top of the basic price of (guessing) because no matter how many times I asked for the price of the basic I could not get an answer but, it is online for $430.00 but I am sure their was a mark up, they would not answer my many emails. My realtor paid me at close but theirs back peddled and said she owed no money. So I paid around $1080.00 for a stainless steel door d/w that retailed at $579.10 (Not what I ordered) I have a text and email proving the d/w I wanted was not what they got me and emails proving the addition error. My requests were answered with telling me not to contact their office anymore. Coming home I stopped at the model to speak with the agent that I emailed originally what d/w I wanted. I asked her why I received the wrong d/w she tried to tell me she gave me codes to look at the d/w. When I told her she did not, she threatened to call the cops. I said why are you saying that when I am just talking with you and she said, you need to leave I am carrying, then telling me she had computer issues and couldn't be bothered with this. Really? Very professional don't you think? She is lucky I did not call the cops on her for threatening my life. Who could I honestly count on to tell the truth? No one and then they still refuse to work with me. They will not own up to the mistakes and pay me my $1,080.00. One day I did talk to the owner and he agreed to pay me the $650.00 and uninstall the old and install the new. Only the letter he sent was they would keep the old? I told him no, unless he paid me $450.00 more. That was fair. He didn't think so. Why would I? I paid for that with the sale of the house, I was going to sell it and coop some of my money. He sent the check and it said nothing in the letter that if I cashed the check he would own my old d/w, Two days later because I would not agree, the money was taken out of my account. I asked him to pay me $100.00 towards the d/w and the $350.00 his realtor still owed me. Got a letter on April 16th that the answer was no and that his agent felt threatened and if I went to the model again they would call the cops and have me arrested. I had to laugh because I have emails from April 1st proving she threatened me and to be honest, if that didn't happen how would I know she carries? I have been so sick to my stomach over this. Now small claims it is. Just can't believe how I was treated. There realtor and broker are just rude and I have so many emails to prove it. I just want you to know that promises don't get kept and so make sure that if you are promised something get it in writing and don't let any unanswered questions go by. My upgrades were stainless steel d/w, 2 high profile toilets and the wiring over my kitchen table for a ceiling fan. The walk thru, no high toilets, low, no wiring, no switch. I have to ask myself, how many people order things and don't catch it after they paid for it? It is too bad that you pay that much money to them and they can't own up to their mistakes. It would have been nothing for them to write that dishwasher refund off and make their customer happy. Just be careful, they really can get really rude.

Closed on our home last October. We highly recommend Creekside to be your home builder. Our home is near perfect. And, when we have needed Creekside or one of their vendors to fine tune an issue they have been great to work with. Larry and Doneata Vaughn

When we met with the agent she showed us a plot map that made it look like our lot went road to road but it didn’t. This left the lot isolated from access to the back yard ¾ acer lot. She didn't tell us that the house would sit on top of the very busy county road. Tried to change just addons and they refused to allow it, this was before any house was even formed up for slab. They built the house so close to the road the driveway bordered a drain ditch that was six feet deep. If you backed up to far out your garage you would end up in the ditch. After the first rain the dirt undermined the driveway two feet, after complaining they put rocks down but never filled in the undermined driveway. There was no room to turn around or back out of driveway so they put a triangle pad instead of extending a squared off driveway. This did nothing for the parking. After I move into the house I had to invest 10,000.00 to extend the driveway and add sod to my 3/4 acer yard with a house 40 feet from the highway. I got permission from the builder to use the access road for the trucks to use. On the day before my delivery he shut down the road so I couldn't use it, when asked why he said there was a complaint that a dirt bike used the road and traveled across 3 feet of someone yard. So instead of warning everyone that he was removing access he just did it. This is the worst builder buyer beware!
