DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! - BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
Our pool build took about a year to complete after being told it would be 90-120 days. Our contract stated 4 months for completion. It took countless emails, calls and texts to get them to respond at all, and litigation threats in order for them come back and finish the work after the plaster was installed. It’s been over a year since the build started and they still have punch list items they never finished. All work moved quickly until they received 90% of the total funds. Then they disappeared for over a month, and didn’t respond to texts, calls and emails. They misquoted our included excavation price, and then invoiced us for $2600 in "overages". The project manager, Mike Bond, ignored information we provided about our lot and therefore expected us to pay for his mistake. They then told us (in writing) they would refuse to finish unless we paid the invoice even though they acknowledged it was their mistake and they were at fault. They did over $15K in damage to our yard and landscaping, damaged our neighbors yard (which we paid to fix) and did such poor work overall that our entire irrigation system had to be replaced.
They also reinstalled the coping around the pool twice, and each time they “fixed” it, they damaged the pool and made the whole situation worse. See images of the finished tile work. AND, we hounded Donna Crites for weeks to please check on the quality of the work that was "fixed". We never received responses, and she NEVER FOLLOWED, SHOWED UP TO INSPECT, ON ANY WORK THAT WAS CONSIDERED "COMPLETED".
We had to project manage the process from start to finish. The amount of time that Crites expected us to be available to meet their subcontractors and provide information on the project was unreasonable and unnecessary. Our work days were interrupted constantly because our PM needed information that was already provided.
Moreover, there is a complete lack of accountability from the owner and her staff. Any issues that came up were our fault, even though we over communicated and documented every step of the process via email. Contracts were not honored and we had to chase the owner for over 6 months to finish the punch list items, which, in the end, were never finished.
