I would NEVER recommend Tom Crook of Crook Construction! Crook only had one consistent crew member - his 21 yr old son. His son was left on his own the majority of the time to try and tackle a huge 30K renovation job. Crook billed for work he didn't do. He also billed for items he didn't purchase-I purchased them. The project manager made him repay one of the items. I was never reimbursed for items I purchased. Crook's son incorrectly installed vinyl flooring underlayment that lead to a huge issue and crude repair. But the biggest issue Crook replaced my HVAC system with a severely undersized furnace and a inadequate AC Unit . My house is 1996 square feet, HVAC Load Calculations indicated home rated for a 80,000 BTU but a 40,000 BTU unit was installed. My AC was rated for a 2 1/2 ton minimum Unit but a 2 ton unit was installed. After almost 4 yrs I'm still trying to get the HVAC system issue resolved. Tom Crook - Crook Construction-- it's all in the name.
