Crosslin Construction remodeled our 55 year old kitchen and utility room four years ago. It was beautiful. However we started noticing that paint was chipping off everywhere. We found out that they used a cheap Sherwin Williams paint and then diluted it even more. We ordered maple wood for our cabinets and they brought us MDF. We made them take them back which delayed us a month. We noticed that there were wrinkles in the board under the microwave and also under the tankless hot water heater. We told them about it and they just put another board on top of it which is now wrinkled. We started seeing the paint falling off the kickboards on both sides of the dishwasher and the island. We called them out to repaint it but the paint still fell off. Then we started touching it up but it still fell off. The painter said we were hurting his feelings and quit coming out to check on our house. We called out plumbers then who told us we had a leak from the one kitchen drain out pipe that was not replaced. Crosslin's plumber said if it is not broke, don't replace it. The pipe was the only pipe not replaced in the house and it was 55 years old. We now have mold under our cabinets. The plumber did not use the right flashing on our tankless hot water heater and water leaked down our wall and put a hole in the washroom sink cabinet which was made out of MDF. After researching all these problems, the insurance company is giving us $43,000 to maybe tear out our tile, some of our cabinets, perhaps the granite, backsplash and repaint everything and section of the driveway to replace the kitchen drainpipe. The kitchen four years ago cost us $71,000. This has been a complete nightmare. G Widmar
