David Liem Nguyen
Sole Owner
Bad news. David Nguyen does not have a general contractors license. This is the same company as the one on Audish Ct, La Mesa, CA, his home address. David runs a large crew for speed and low cost, most are less skilled than a handyman. From the beginning they didn't protect the rest of the house and furniture from dust and damage. What started as a kitchen project, became much more with painting, replacing carpet with tile, new baseboards, a bathroom, fireplace, etc. He worked on several things at once for the sake of speed, which caused other problems/ damage. David waits until the last minute then presses for immediate decision on materials, with limited options. The result is dissatisfaction with countertop and paint color. The wood look ceramic floor tiles were supposed to have extra narrow grout lines in a matching color to look more like real wood, but that's not what I got. The LED lights with dimmer switches flicker and so far two recessed lights have fallen right out of the ceiling. David left a gap next to the dishwasher. The door knobs weren't removed when they painted, so when they pulled off the tape, the paint peeled off the door. They fix everything with caulking, including the peeled paint! David left a fire sprinkler in the ceiling without the cuff, so there was a hole that I had to resolve. The majority of the work was completed very quickly, then he became unreliable to finish up. Like the other reviews, David made numerous promises to return. I would take time off work and no one would show up. David stopped answering my calls. A friend had recommended him, but had limited his project to one thing at a time, no major changes. Beware, not a good deal in the end.
