Well it started out very good for the first ten months. But it started to go downhill when he gave me a completion date. He said he would be done October/ November. My lease was up end of September. So based on what he told me I didn’t renew my lease. So it cost me a extra $500 a month to my lease.. I told him this but still little to no work was being done. But he was getting the draw money. But no work was being done. He also was getting my contingency money. When I asked for the invoices to see what he spent my money on. He refused to show me anything. My wife bought some tile out of her pocket and gave it to him, to put in the half bath . That was about six months ago and he never installed it. When I asked him to give it back he refused. I am a disabled veteran, and requested to have a taller toilet in master bath. He refused to do it. This is a custom build and he didn’t want to do any small changes. He last deadline to be completed, was May. He still was not finished or even had any work being done in May. So with all this we had to fire this builder. He is not trust worthy and difficult to work with.
