Permit# 38355, 457 Grovemont Place.
Started out okay but was a little suspicious of him wanting a $50k deposit, most contractors do not ask for that much.
What transpired over the next 9 months was:
Failure to complete work.
Failure to stay on budget.
Failure to pay subcontractors & vendors even though he was paid by us.
Failure to hold deposit as promised, spent it instead.
License expired 1/31/20.
After 9 months all we had were footers in the ground, false promises and were over budget by $20k + $50k deposit.
Will be filing complaint with State of TN and obtaining lawyer.
Terminated with him and found a new contractor. -

Used Chad Thomas and paid him in full to complete our home through his updated budgets.Signed numerous contracts totalling $60,000 he took cashed checks and did none of the work.The above complaint from Thomas LeKaunas and my wife and l also have filed against Chad Thomas with the state,and we also will retain a lawyer took recoup money lost.BUYER BEWARD
