  This contractor was way overpriced, but talked a good game, so we thought we will pay for quality. That was a huge mistake. Didn't show up or call when they said they would start. Then it was hit or miss when somebody would come to work on the bathroom. Quality of work was poor. Put down a tile floor, which kept falling apart, tile cracked, grout falling out. Then he blamed our "poor quality, older house as the problem". You got it right, it was our fault, that they did lousy work. If our house wasn't capable of handling a tile floor, then why didn't the professional contractor know that before they put it down? Finally I was able to afford another contractor to come in, and rip out the tile floor, and replace it. While ripping out the old floor they found no glue on the back of the tiles, only around the edges of the tiles, where they had made some contact with the floor. The backs of the tiles were not "buttered". They were hardly even stuck to the floor. It is know wonder we were having problems all of the time. Save yourself a huge headache, and a lot of money, by going somewhere else.
