Do not recommend. After we submitted our deposit (half of the total fence project), the company stopped communicating. Every time we called for update, they pushed us off. Every time we asked for a follow up, they would never call back. 18 weeks later we still had no fence and barely any communication. Very unprofessional. Cancelled the project and it was a major struggle to get our deposit back. I do not suggest Curran Fencing.

Jim is a crook. Gave him $1500 deposit for 90 ft worth of fence November 2018, still have no fence 4/2019 and a bunch of empty promises. He's now doing business under Curran Property Maintenance. Stay away from this clown if you want to keep your money. Take a look at Yelp there are at least 2 others he's ripped off.

We used Curran Fence to install our Vinyl Lattice Top fence. Their price was about the same as the others but I felt confident in Jim. I was certainly glad I did. I got a beautiful fence, perfect installation and clean friendly workers. I highly recommend Curran for any fence project.

I live in Drexel Hill & a week ago my fence was taken down by a wind storm. I contacted Curran after driving through Springfield and seeing a new fence advertising Curran. When I called to make an appointment for someone to come out and take a look, measure, review products & give me an estimate, the gentlemen was very nice. I assume I was speaking to Jim Curran, Sr. He said that either he would be out the next day (Saturday) beteeen 10 & 11 am, his son, Jim Jr. or his brother would come out. Great!
Saturday morning, no one showed up. However, I did see a beat up white pick-up truck pull up to my house with chain link fencing hanging out the bed at around 10:15 am. But no one got out, no one knocked on the door. The young man drove off within 5 minutes of pulling up, he didn't even turn the truck off. I never received a phone call to even reschedule. My husband was not very happy & neither was I.
I work in Facilities for a living, I deal with a lot of contracts, contractors, insurance companies...I schedule all estimates/bids and oversee every aspect of any job being done from start to finish. I'm good at what I do and I'm also very easy when it comes to working with deadlines or any unforeseen issues that anyone that I hire may have. But, I can not and will not tolerate no call, no show BS. It's the most extreme form of disrespect for someone who works in my field.
It's obvious to me that this company does not respect potential clients. And, after reading a few more reviews, it is my opinion that the son, Jim Jr., has a pattern of this type of behavior. It's a shame that he lacks respect for not only his customers, but also this fathers family business. Word of advice Jim Sr., get rid of the son, work on rebuilding the reputation of your family business.

This fence was installed incorrectly on an uneven yard, the wind blew off pieces within a few months, was installed with nails- and insufficiently at that, the doors were not on correctly, and the footers were not strong enough. I don’t know why (other than taking probably too much money) anyone would do work like this. We had another contractor tell us it was the worst fence installation he had ever seen.
