The work has stopped and I am unable to get into contact with Ryan despite multiple calls on both cell and main phones since January 29th.
The work stopped because Ryan said a condensate pump he ordered had not come in yet. That was the last thing left to do other than installing a Ductless Mini Split line hide. I had also asked for and not received, a receipt of a deposit which Ryan requested early via Venmo due to “a rebate no longer covering the Mini Split installation.” A reviewer on Google mentioned that she had not been able to get into contact since December 28th, 2020, which is curious because of my contact with Ryan while her issue is going on.
Until that point, while the work was a bit slow, likely due to Covid-19 related issues, it was consistent and Ryan worked around my schedule. Ryan is very personable and I have no complaints about his quality of work.
I will change my rating if communication resumes and the work is complete.

We contacted Ryan Roy of Custom Climate Solutions to do work on our Gree Mini-split systems to get them working properly. We paid him a $5400 deposit (1/2 the total cost of the work) because he said we needed a new outdoor condenser. He did a little outside work which included mounting line sets and line hide and then we never heard from him again. We have registered a complaint with the Consumer Protection Dept with the state of CT and they will complete their investigation, but encouraged us to take him to court to recoup our money. As you can see from the reviewer above, this is not an isolated incident - avoid working with this company!
