Home Addition- The design, creativity, and detail that was proposed to us was something we had never thought of, nor had the other contractors we had interviewed. It ended up being an overall good experience and we are extremely pleased with the custom detailed work that they added. Again, the overall design was something "outside the box", which is why we would absolutely consult & hire them again. The project did take longer than expected, but the overall end result worth it.

The positives: Vision - Creativity - Consulting - Flexibility - Final Product.
The early stages of the process were excellent. Good communication; arrived on short notice to provide a free quote; provided creative options within minutes of viewing the area; provided a full sketch of the vision within 1 day. I talked to other contractors to get input on the project and none of them came close.
Due to our schedule, we had limitations on when they could work, and they accommodated our unusual schedule without hesitation.
The final product came out exactly as described and was of good quality. The negatives: The process took much longer than expected. Materials coming from 3rd parties were delayed. The project was completed a month later than expected. The price was also on the higher end compared to other contractors, but with that came creative consulting on the front end.

Ccs exceeded our expectations. We hired them for a commercial project where they took our vision to the next level. Their design ideas surpassed other contractors and the communication was great. It was a great experience working together.

They are rude and irresponsible. they got paid 13k of 16k for the work they have done. but they did only 40% of the work. They left the property home with full of debris. They dragged the project so much. When i ask timeline, they bullied, threatened me. Finally, they filed MECHANICS LIEN on the property. We are filing fraudulent lien and suit to remove the lien. Unethical and Unfair. STAY AWAY.
Response from Custom Construction Solutions October 29, 2018Mr. Ramu and his investment partner contacted and hired us on Aug. 16th to work on their investment property that needed to be done quickly in order for them to profit. We began work the very next day, in "good faith", without signed work order/agreement returned by them. By Aug.20th, demo was complete and framing/sheet rocking began. On Aug.21st, we asked for signed paperwork after multi attempts, this time Mr. Ramu replied, "he forgot." Our crews worked on weekends, including Sundays' and Labor Day to try to accommodate them. Our phones and texts accommodated their late night "change orders", questions, and requests. For example, we had the plumber scheduled and when the plumber arrived they cancelled a portion of the plumbers work, but the very next day decided they DID want it done. When we told them that the plumber could not be scheduled back out for a week, they were unreasonable, angry, and abusive. We have crew members who witnessed verbal abuse and were subject to it by Mr. Easterday. We have other crew members who reported that Mr. Ramu tried to hire them out from under us. Mr. Ramu scheduled work, cancelled it, and then would want to schedule it again. His partner Mr. Eric Easterday sent us a work stoppage email on Aug.30th, demanding we cease work, only to have Mr. Ramu apologize and then demand we continue. We accommodated meeting Mr. Ramu on Sunday because of his busy schedule at the project site to make sure we were all on the same page. We accommodated Mr. Eric Easterday when he delivered wrong parts, by sending our guys to the parts store to get correct items, which happened often because they insisted on buying some of the materials themselves so they could save money. CCS has went above and beyond to try to satisfy these investors by working while they dodged signing work orders, working while they tried to hire our crew out from under us, working after verbal abuse, working on Sundays' and a holiday, working while Eric Easterday went behind our back posting negative reviews and threatening only to take them down if we complied with his demands. CCS serves over 120 customers per year in the DFW area. Mr. Ramu & his investment partner Eric Easterday were very difficult to work for to say the least. -

The process took longer than expected, but I'm giving them a 5 stars for an amazing design and quality workmanship. They need to estimate in more days for rain and material delays when giving clients a finish timeline. Other than that great job!
