This business stinks! Poor quality and the owner is a liar. They were building a deck in my neighborhood and I asked them if they built shedd. They said yes. I got some bids and ended up hiring them. That was the beginning of the circus.
To make the story short I will just touch on the mistakes and lies.
Poured concrete slab over grass, no sand or gravel base. My wife took photos of it 75 % poured while they took break in truck. She called me, I came home from work and it was finished. Asked them if they poured over grass. They denied until they were told we had photos. Now Ron says they made slab extra thick so it wouldn't crack. Reported this to city with photos and inspector was not happy. They told her that they did put sand or gravel down first. She had the photos that showed otherwise. Inspector ordered them to break and remove slab and replace with sand base rear then cement. The removal of the slab was a joke. Ron his old dad, his brother and 2 or 3 women. Everyone was overweight and it was v about 90 degrees. I was afraid someone was going to collapse. At one point Ron said he was going to report the city to the TV news to show how they give contractors a hard time. That would have been smsrt! (LOL) After about a week or two of getting a slab in the shed construction began. The angle of roof trusses at the peak were off a little so the inspector made them tie each one together with an additional 2x4.
So after about one month my 10x12 shed was finally finished. I have a lot of this on video tape.
Now Ron is in a hurry to collect his money. Due to our schedules we were unable to get together for a few days. He also worked for Northwest Airlines handling baggage or something. I paid him, we had words and he and his brother left (for some treason he would not come overv alone).
About 2 weeks later someone through an empty GI bottle of of beer at my cargo vaN in front of my home. Alarm went off. Called police and we picked up the glass. He asked if I thought if it may be related to the shed builder. Probably LOL, high school mentality!
Hope they are out of business so they don't screw more people over.
