I would not recommend this builder. The initial relationship was really good. Planning, budgeting, and getting to weathered in all went really smooth. Shortly after this, things took a hard turn downhill. Construction began Aug 3 2020 with an estimated completion time of 8-10 months. We are not done yet, and it appears he has no intention of finishing since he has refused to return text messages or give us a call in a month. While we understand supply issues were certainly tough to deal with during covid, many things that went wrong can certainly not be blamed on covid. Things such as not showing up for months at a time and doing poor quality work the first time requiring it to be done over. I have picutes and will provide them with this review if allowed, showcasing the quality of work that is left behind after over 1.5 years of construction. To top it off as of a month or so ago he could not produce invoices for the work that had been done therefore we could not complete tax preparation on time.
If pictures are not allowed in this review, here is a list of the items left in poor repair or unfinished: inability to find and install the proper 3-point front door hardware, inability to repair or find someone to repair windows that never worked correctly, inability to properly match touched up paint throughout the house, screws ran thru door seal of dishwasher, screws ran from inside thru outdoor siding, cabinet doors not installed, outdoor trim unpainted, outdoor trim not installed, and inability to simply measure and order gas log inserts correctly.
