Remodel park model after water damage.

Overall I was somewhat satisfied with the job, however the workers we’re told about the squeaky floorboard, after the floor was installed. They attempted to fix the squeak from underneath the park model. This did not work and the workers discontinued their effort.
Poor communication between the estimator and myself. I needed to ask the workers for information on progress, and inform them of the changes that I had talked about or hadn’t mentioned to the estimator.
Carelessness in the disposal of the grout water. The workers had poured it down my outdoor fountain needing the pump and float to be replaced. They where informed of the mess, and backed flushed the pump, which started to work again. Then it just quit shortly thereafter.
Had to ask the estimator a couple of times to please change the placement of the pantry cabinet to where the old footprint was as we needed the additional room in order to be able to move through the hallway of the park model.
Kitchen utensil drawer closes on it’s own. That was brought up twice, once before payment, and once after payment. It’s still not fixed.
Was not given reconciliation between the insurance company’s detailed estimate and Custom Remodeling invoice.
    After final payment. NO REPONSE!

    House addition
    $47,000

We hired Custom Remodeling to complete a 350 sq. ft addition onto our home (including opening up existing kitchen wall for pass-through and new counters), along with a new porch and new AC. It was a large project that required a lot of trust. We are so happy we put our faith in Custom Remodeling to complete our project.

We mainly interacted with Mike, the superintendent, from start to finish. He came out and did a thorough estimate, was very knowledgeable, and professional from the beginning; that professionalism never faded over the course of the project.

We had been interacting with numerous other local contractors to get estimates and noticed the difference that Custom Remodeling brought to the table right away. Mike did what he said, when he said he would do it; he showed up on time, returned phone calls and texts, and made time for all of our questions and concerns. Mike proved to be reliable and trustworthy. He helped us to make amendments to our existing drafted plans for the roof and AC ducting that ended up giving us exactly what we wanted. He coordinated with the drafter to ensure his vision for this change was executed in the plans and he brought us a bid that was highly competitive to the other licensed contractors we had bid out with (even with the new roofing structure).

The overall project took about 3 months and wasn’t always smooth sailing, but that is to be expected with any major project. Subcontractor work wasn’t done 100% to our satisfaction on a few instances, but what mattered to us was that Chris and Mike ALWAYS ensured the work was corrected and completed to our satisfaction; if we pointed it out, they very happily made it right. Mike built trust with us that was maintained throughout the project and Chris is a phenomenal business owner who ensures that honesty and integrity are an integral part of his business.

We love our home addition! It looks like it was an original part of the home and we would 100% recommend Chris and Mike with Custom Remodeling to anyone looking for a qualified, honest, and experienced contractor with the staff to match.

Had a water pipe break in ceiling in August and affected half my home, and it had to be totally redone on the inside. Custom Remodel was Great to work with, very professional very concerned with customer satisfaction. Respect and treated my property with the outmost respect. They had no problem with being on time. They finished the Remodel in timely fashion. They never padded the bill. Did exactly what they said they’d do. Would absolutely recommend Mike and Custom Remodel. Sandra O’Rourke

Repair throughout house from water damage
    $14,997

Great to work with. We experienced a pipe break in August that totally destroyed our entire house. Our first contractor, who we fired, dropped the ball and did not finish work that we paid for. After contacting Mike at Custom Rebuilding, he and his crews jumped right in to get our house back to a livable state (insulation, drywall, texture, paint, electrical, plumbing). His advice on numerous items was in valuable. 5 star all the way. Thanks Mike and Custom.
