Remodeled my mother’s kitchen upon my referral. After 2 yrs drawers are falling apart. Called him, spoke to him, said he’d come fix them. Never did. Supporting THIS Black business didn’t work for me.

I've had the worst experience ever with this company. While everything started off great, it became a nightmare at the end. I was asked to pay for damages that his workers caused to my property, he neglected my property leaving it open for thieves and homeless people to enter, I even walked in on someone in my home and I had my 2 little girls with me. He tried to double-charge me for items that were part of the original contract. There's so much that he still hasn't completed and refuses to fix.
His workers additionally left beer bottles and cans all around my property, including some with pee inside. We did a 2nd story renovation, and he didn't want to refinish the 1st floor as it was prior to the project. He wanted to just paint the walls and move on. Unacceptable for a house that was well-kept and in order prior to the renovation. Each bedroom originally on the 2nd floor had ceiling fans. He didn't want to put them back and wanted to charge me extra saying they were never there. You mean to tell me that I don't know how my home looked prior to handing it over to you for remodeling? He made me show him pictures for proof. Luckily my daughters (toddlers) had pictures in my phone looking up their noses and happened to have some pictures of the ceilings. He did the same thing about the crown molding in my living room as well.
His workers damaged and broke my kitchen cabinets, and still hasn't fixed them and has said nothing about fixing them.
I'm missing heating/air vents in rooms. HOW?? Did you not give proper direction and review your staff's work?
I was very disappointed in the negative experience and disgruntled customer service that I received from him. He doesn't write things down and always forgets.
The bottom line for me was when he called me being belligerent, cursing, and threatening because I was requesting that he fix damages to my home that his workers caused, and to finish my project. I got tired that every time we spoke he was requesting additional money and did not even complete the pieces that I had already given him money for. To this day, he refuses to complete my home per the contract that we signed and wants me to pay him to fix his mess-ups. I still have a driveway of dirt and concrete and trash that he refuses to remove saying his trucks can't carry the load. Well get a bigger one and pick up your mess.
He did not keep proper records of my payments or expenses for my project and still requested money that I already provided him payment for. Several times I had to give them the check numbers and amounts just to get his records together.
His daughter is a joy to work with. But she only can do as much as her father allows at the end of the day.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CONTRACTOR! And I'll be seeing him in court.
