Alex Davis began his career in residential construction before co-founding D&S Builders with his late mentor, Howard Sexton. Sexton provided guidance to Davis and taught him the fundamentals of the business. Their first commercial project together was a 15,000 SF shopping center, and Davis attributes much of his success to Sexton -
He took me under his wing, teaching me the tools of the trade in the commercial sector and how to complete a project in a timely manner while building lasting relationships with owners and developers - essentially the foundation of D&S. I had big ambitions to grow the company and that's what we've done. This success wouldn't have been possible without the direction I received early on.
In 2008, Davis bought the company from Sexton. Today, Davis has over 25 years of experience in the industry. He is renown by owners for his precision and desire for perfection throughout any given project. His passion for the business is boundless and has inscribed this into his company's culture. With Davis' guidance and passion for commercial construction, D&S Builders has built over 50 hotels in the past 10 years and is constantly striving his team to excel and promote growth. I love what I do.
