D& H Excavators are completely fraudulent! I gave Horace Medcalf $1,000 dollars down to hook me into the city water system and the rest was to be paid upon completion and he gave excuse after excuse as to why he had not initiated the job until he finally said take me to court and I did and won the judgement, but he still is not paying up so what have I really won? I am a Social Worker who definitely does not have $1,000 dollars to just give someone! If there is anyone who can help me recover my money I would greatly appreciate it because this man is not only ripping off people, but poor people at that!

This contractor has closed it's doors and ran off with the down payments. Beware!! Check out the F rating on the Better Business Bureau. Call the Attorney General about complaints. Look up other websites with multiple complaints. Do your homework and do not give any money to this contractor!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst Contractor I ever hired. Had to take him to court. Spent three times the cost of the installation but WON my case. Did not install system as required in specifications. Check out his history with the BBB and you will obviously see there are many others who aren't satisfied with this contractor.

so i hear he has been closed down but i feel a need to put in my two cents.
this man had the gaul to advertise himself as being a Christian when he did bad work for me..in summary, he messed up my sewer line and at the time i did not know...but continued to have issues which were confirmed by another company... and now i have to have to done all over again. i did confront him previously when another company spotted his many errors and Horce said he would come back and re-do it for 30% less!! Like i would ever let him on my property again!!! so i hope when he is in Christian heaven he is served a lot of bad mealsl! i feel better now., Whew!
