He walked out on the project when it was less than half finished. Unfortunately, he took with him about $6,000 dollars for material he incorrectly ordered, or never bought at all--just pocketed our money. The subcontractor he'd hired stepped up to finish. We have no idea what happened with Mr. Hall. He just stopped returning calls or responding to texts and emails. We sent a registered letter--no response. We're now filing a MA HIC complaint.

Joe Teti, who works for D. Hall Construction based out of Metro West remodeled my kitchen in Brookline. The prior tenants demolished the cabinets, floors and walls. With short notice, the kitchen was stripped down and remodeled. Existing kitchen was gutted and replaced with new windows, cabinets, counter tops and floors in a timely fashion and on budget. I love my kitchen and recommend them! Thank you!

We hired Donny for two bathroom remodels. He subcontracted the plumbing to an unlicensed plumber who could not even install a simple toilet. Donny tried to cover it up which resulted in extensive leaks and water damage. We ended up having to rip out new tile and wall. Donny them sent us the invoice for the repair work from the licensed plumber who was hired to fix the mess. $3k. Donny ordered a custom window incorrectly that was not compliant with code. He knowingly installed and did not take ownership to correct. He has not returned calls and we are left with an unfinished project. Stay away! He lies and is shady.
