  Donnie Shaw is a thief and doesn't know anything about construction. He will take your $ and use it on other projects. He has no intentions on finishing your job, he waits for you to fire him and then will falsely claim you owe him money. He has an attorney on retainer since he scams so many people. He will claim it's a civil matter an will tell you nothing will happen to him around here. Locals will tell you the same thing. He is "protected". We have spoken to a lot of others he has done this to. We were left with a shell for our house build. He never responded to any of our communication requesting our money back, but told the investigator he still had a small portion of it. He will keep your money and it pushed hard enough, he will have his attorney contact you and tell you that you have to sign a release of liability before giving you your own money. That shows you right there that he knows his work is substandard. A home he built collapse on a couple and there kids after high winds. Tje whole house collapsed. The bolts holding the beams in the concrete were too small. In our house, we found windows beings held up with one screw. He also had told me that windows don't have to be screwed in on the sides. He said the trim will hold everything together. We have no ridge vent on our roof, he used the wrong type of foam so we have been told by several professional contractors that we will eventually have mold in our walls where the soft foam meets the metal panels. He used wrong sized metal on the frame. He would not allow us to be here when electrician and plumber were here as we requested. It's a new build, we wanted to show them where we wanted stuff like outlets, water faucets, etc. He told me after they were done that they don't like to speak with the clients. I asked both the plumber and the electrician and they said he lied, they prefer to speak with the clients. He took so much of our money that now our retirement is paycheck to paycheck when we had everything planned out to be very comfortable. He says he is not building anymore bit everyone knows he is. Run very far from this guy!

  Donnie started a project to build us a shop in 2023. He left us only a frame that took months to do. He's a scam artist. He & his wife will take your $$ and run. He owes MANY customers & contractors $$. He's had multiple lawsuits filed against him. BEWARE!!!

  We delivered concrete for Donnie. His Wife Kris came out and wrote the check. Check bounced and they have done nothing to make this right. STAY AWAY. You might end up with a mechanics lien on your property from a supplier if he is not paying materials purchased.
