  We built a new home and had several plastering contractors bid the lath and plaster. D W Mathews wasn’t the cheapest but they weren’t the most expensive. They helped us through the project, kept the schedule and they did a beautiful job. We are complemented all the time and proud of our home, thank you D W Mathews!

  Dishonest, they do not back up their work (and you'll need it). Used this company based on a high recommendation with our strongest focus being QUALITY and not about being cheap. This was new construction in 2010. Within 5 years the stucco all around the house began crack in a huge way. Not your basic settling (which of course they said it was initially). These cracks were huge. They came out at least 3 different times over a 2 year period, and did say YES these are pretty bad and we can fix it, but we can't do it for free but we'll fix it for cheap. We said OK, thats fine we'll pay for it.

  The house began to leak after storms. They blamed the windows. We said OK, we'll cut out out our windows, re-flash and reinstall. They also said that a NEW and outstanding product had come out about a year after they did our job in 2010. And they'll fix it with this product. We said OK great. When can we get on schedule? They never returned calls. They never returned texts. They basically would come by once a year, act like they'll take care of us (for a CHARGE), and then fall off the face of the earth.

  Pressed to get this done before another winter, we finally hired another contractor. We told them what DW Mathews (Cody) told us about the new product that just came out after they did our job and he said if thats what he said they're not telling you the truth. The product has been out for years PRIOR to 2010. So, we start cutting out the windows to make sure they were reflashed and installed properly. What did we begin to notice? Windows installed CORRECTLY, AND HOLES all over the paper. Holes and tears everywhere, they used a staple gun throughout entire job and it was sloppy and careless, which was exactly why we had water damage (molded and warping window sills).

  We didn't have time to file a lawsuit because we had to get our house fixed ASAP. It is something we will be exploring as overall this cost us over 20k in damage and re-stuccoing the entire house, after already paying this company to do it not even 8 years prior.

  They do not care and they wont return your phone calls. People should know about how this company does business. Its not $500. Its thousands and thousands of dollars.
