    I am very pleased with DAC Construction. The company did a fantastic job with my window sill replacement and subsequent paint job. Danny is very professional, thorough, detail-oriented and efficient. I recommend this company to anyone seeking carpentry, renovation or painting services.

    The guy that came to our house (said he was the owner) was extremely rude, demanding, and disrespectful. We were looking to have some issues with bathroom fixed. My wife and I had questions regarding pricing and trying to explain what we were looking to get done. He made everything out to be a major issue and as if he was too busy to do any of the work.

    After providing us with an estimate he requested 1/3 of the total payment up front before he started the work. Then when my wife asked why such a large deposit he kept asking: "You dont have the money??" . Who says things like that!!!

    I have used many professional/certified/quality companies in maryland and they never demanded 1/3 payment upfront. When continued to question him he became very confrontational over the phone, made disrespectful comments about my wife, and used profanity.

    Needless to say we won't be going with this company and advise everyone else to look elsewhere. We quickly found another licensed/insured and much more professional contractor at a Cheaper Cost!!!!

    We have already contacted the BBB about Dac Construction and their unprofessionalism.

    Too many other exceptional companies/people to give your money too, avoid this one!!!!

    Basement renovation

    Danny and DAC, We have been trying to reach you by phone, email and certified letter to obtain a refund of our $20,000 for work not completed on our DC project. You refused receipt of our certified letter three times, you will not answer or return our phone calls, and you will not respond to our email. We contacted DCRA (DC’s Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs) and were informed that your Home Improvement license (#71100143) was cancelled on 8/1/18 “by the owner” because the company is “going out of business”. Yet your Maryland license (#132115) is still active. We are filing complaints with DCRA and the Maryland Home Improvement Commission against you that we are trying to resolve. Please immediately contact us.

    Very happy with the work done by DAC. Danny came out on a Saturday to do a walkthrough, and came back with an estimate by Sunday morning. Really appreciate that Danny did what he said he would do, made suggestions when appropriate, and got the work done on a tight timeline. We had a baby due, and DAC pushed to get the work done before the birth. DAC is now my go to contractor. Couldn't be happier.
