Canyon Visit Homes is incredibly incompetent when it comes to building custom homes. We had to terminate his employment for lack of follow through, lack of knowledge, general disinterest in our project, lack of supervision and overall ineptitude. John Bennett is not interested in and incapable of building your custom home. We had to intervene many times during our build to keep the worst from happening. He is not worth his supervisory fees because he does not supervise. We suggest staying far away from this builder.

Horrible. Totally incompetent as a businessman. He told multiple lies and covered for faulty materials and workmanship. He does not abide by his own contract. He does not supervise the build/uses being out of town as an excuse. He "overlooked" a complete bathroom plumbing, did not complete a HVAC design calculation resulting in tens of thousands of dollars in rework... on a brand new CUSTOM home...sheet rocked when he was told no sheet rock...lied about foundation drain installed...installed and tried to cover warped subflooring...too many things to list.... how does he have a license in Grand Junction? He is rude and disrespectful when questioned about anything. We suggest never using this builder.
