My wife and I initially met with Dagan because we had admired some of the furniture he had designed. During the conversation we had with Dagan, we also talked about our master bathroom, and our dissatisfaction with the current shower (I had nicer showers in apartments I was renting while I was in college. :-) )

Dagan listened carefully, talked with us about what we were looking to improve, and put together a plan that used the space much more efficiently than the one we had. He invited us to walk through one of the houses was of his subs was working in--we really liked the way he used concrete for the floor of the shower--and we were sold on having Dagan as our contractor.

Dagan came in exactly on budget; he was excellent about keeping in touch via text and coming by, and his subcontractors were uniformly pleasant and professional and got along well with our dog, who was closely supervising the process. My wife and I are really, really pleased with the result, and we have already recommended Dagan to some of our friends.

We hired Dagan Design & Construction earlier this year to design and build a conference table, desks and a coffee table for our new office space. They were very easy to work with... detailed and gave great input, ideas and suggestions. We LOVE our new office furniture and receive so many compliments. They exceeded our expectations and in fact we plan to work with them again to design and build furniture for our home. We definitely recommend working with Dagan Design & Construction.

Dagan Design and Construction was first hired by my children (who live in southern California) to rebuild a deck for me as birthday present. The original 1976 2nd story level decking was rotted out. The project was complicated as the hillside sloped steeply away, and the original decking had not been secured in sound constructional ways. The design, restructuring and construction created such an improvement and line of beauty for my home, that I invited them to return to Oregon and create another deck on the ground level. I also wanted them to construct a fence that would both keep out my farm animals and add beauty to my back yard. The process of discussing the options, materials and necessary steps was a very satisfying experience. I was so pleased that my wishes and dreams were both listened to and incorporated into the project. The outstanding results, however, came mostly from Dagan's incredible sense of the earth, of space, and of how to balance blending in and standing out to create unique and home-specific works of art that are supremely functional. Both of my decks, the unique fencing and gates, and the cable design of the railing stand out as noble and practical additions to my home. I hold this company in highest regard in every aspect. His work is noticed and appreciated by skilled artisans who have been to my home. What a pleasure!

Dagan Design & Construction has worked for us for approximately 3 years. We live in a 1928 home in the Echo Park area of Los Angeles. Although they are located in the Solana Beach/San Diego area they have been willing to work in Los Angeles. This company has done a number of jobs for us -- some small and some very large. They removed our hot tub, refinished our deck, plastered and painted, and did major reconstruction work on a number of rooms. The job is always completed in a timely manner and at the originally estimated price. When presented with a challenging job they have been able to come up with creative solutions. They are always on time, start work early, and work late. They are professional, and always leave the work area neat and clean. We highly recommend this company.
