The pool was not completed yet so I can't give you a final verdict. We had a little bit of weather last fall, which I will give everyone a pass on that. I think Blue Haven is still good, but their attention to detail has been lacking. When the pool is about 98% complete, they can't finish it. They can't put the final cement that goes around the spa and the fire pit so the water can't get down under the pavers. I'm in an exterior building material business and I know that if you don't take care of the details you can't complete a job. That's what's gone wrong. The salesman, not the owner, over promised and under delivers. They're like "I'm going to be there and do this and that". His word was meaningless and his response time was just a joke. I think they're confident that the building will get through. They think that our pool is built right, yes, but that's about all I can say. I can't recommend them to anyone. We had to call the salesman because you need to get a permit to start construction. And in my opinion, if I hadn't called him asking about it the permit will slip through the cracks. The details are what we've been disappointed with this company. It's the same as taking forever to get it completed. It had been raining in the fall, but it wasn't raining every day. There were many sunny days, however, nobody was there working. I had to bug them before they send people on the site. I understand that they had other jobs going on but it's just very frustrating.

Buyer beware, Blue Haven Pools, Frank Elwood, does not honor the lifetime warranty on the structure of the pools he builds. Our pool will not hold water anymore because of all the cracks. I have contacted his office every month for 3 months to get warranty work done. Lisa, his watch dog, covers for him and puts you off so you think something will happen. (work order) It doesn't! I guess its will be small claims court for Frank.
