Our total experience was ecxellent with him. More than excellent just reading thru this guys contract and his start n go tactics after a signed agreement is incorrect. the purpose of wausau is to have a agreemts signed and ordered prior to building to eliminate this stuff. This moron couldn’t even produce power because he did t want to pay $3100 for a professional. Or did he make timely payments. His inventory to complete in his garage. Has his own flooring money..Instead he wants to rent a machine and try trenching but refused to go nesr potential hot wires are. That’s a coward save yourself money but electrocute others. We seen video and email. This guy wants to buy at menards and save 11 percent and have the builder pick up and even store on site . What idiot would send material 3 months in advance.. homeowner breached contract st least 17?times. . It don’t matter WHD has built plenty of quality Homes bout obviously dealing with a non ethical nut job called corvettes for christ

Horrible, Dan is a crook. We have paid him over 285,000 to build our home and he has given only a half finished hiuse. House exterior has been sitting for 7 months with exposed wood surfaces, no siding and rotting wood. Interior is not I nsulated and has no sheet rock. He has not paid subcontractors and they are refusing to do any more work. He has not provided any mechanical lien waivers. He is a Wausau home builder and Wausau will not help us. They have even installed an inferior support beam in the basement. It falls short of resting on the foundation wall. They nailed two 2x4's to each side for structural support. Wausau and Dan Lansing are crooks in every way. We are working with an attorney and the Iowa Attorney General to attempt to get our money back. Upwards of $120,000 just to clean up the mess Dan Lansing and Wausau created. Stay away from Dan Lansing and Wausau Homes. Dan Lansing is continuing to build homes under his own company and he will continue to hurt more people if allowed.

I just want to share what a pleasure it was working with Dan. He has to be one of the easiest contractors to work with . This guy and his staff brought everything from design to finish that we got so much more than we could vision. He found ways to get us the best products and the end result was beautiful. Building is not easy and can be stressful and people sometimes take advantage or try to push the blame on the builder.. Well knowing first hand we went over budget but its our fault, my wife kept adding stuff. Good news is Dan went to bat and cut our extras down.. Thanks to him and his staff we are so happy...

Where do you stop on a rating. This guy went over and above for us getting us in a home we could afford using nothing but great products. He even showed us away to save money when he didn't have to.

Dan and his staff totally impressed us with his design ability and the quality of the workmanship they had done.. Project did take a little longer that projected but then again we kept changing things.. He was very patient and very fun to work with. I would strongly recommend him ..

Dan LANSING Construction has built our home twice and all 3 of our children.. Dan has gone far and above and has come in under budget ... This guy is creative and he will give you one hell of a quality built home... Jim B

My experience with Dan was far and beyond expectations ! He showed us designs and ways to save money ! Our experience was nothing more than positive. Now our kids are building and we plan to have Dan ! We won't even get other bids ! That's how happy we are ! Brian G

Dan Lansing cannot backup the one year warranty on a new home. My basement had a crack in the foundation wall, it cost me 1650 dollars to get it fixed .All I wanted from him was 560 dollars. I keep getting the old runaround of waiting for the insurance money if approved or he will pay it himself. It has now been 3 weeks. He has a number of judgments against him which shows up on our abstract (6) which are not satisfied yet dating back 3 years.
