I woke up freezing this past Tues evening and was frantically calling friends to see if they knew a trustworthy HVAC contractor because I was scared to be ripped off by the big companies. Fortunately a friend recommended Dan because he had installed a heater in their home. Dan came out that evening and tried to fix it but it was a dangerous situation and had to be replaced. He arrived at 8 am the next morning and worked late into the night to have my new boiler installed. I offered to let him come back to finish in the morning but he insisted that he wanted to make sure i was warm that same day. Thank you Dan for your dedication and determination to keep your customers happy and warm and at a reasonable price. My house has never been more comfortable. I was referred to Dan from a friend from church after my heater was red tagged by a big hvac company. They gave me a very high price for replacement but I really had no choice. They were to start the job on Monday and after church on Sunday I was upset and told my friend, who called Dan on Sunday afternoon and he personally came out to my house within the hour. I immediately called the big hvac company and cancelled,thank God I didn't sign a contract with them yet. My new system was still installed on Monday, but by Dan MacNamee and for 2000.00 less than my estimate from the big company and with a 10 year warranty instead of a 5 year warranty. I highly recommend Dan to anyone who wants personal and professional service at reasonable prices.

I called Dan MacNamee today after recieving a business card from a friend, my friend told me he was honest and I was in a desperate situation. I was told by a hvac contractor that my compressor was shot and I not only needed to change my ac but also my heater because it was too old to handle a new ac system. His estimate was 5800.00 which I did not have being on a fixed income. I was hoping Dan's estimate would be lower. After arriving and looking at my outside ac he discovered a swollen metal part, I think he called it a start cap (whatever that is). He went to his truck and brought back a part, installed it and started the ac....I was floored!!!!...it started right up.. he got a hose out of his truck washed the outside ac and it has worked better than it has since Ive moved in. My total price when he was done 189.50!!!!!! I tried to give him a 50.00 tip for saving me 5600.00 and he refused, saying he was only doing his job. He said he was interested in happy customers and word of mouth advertising. I cannot say enough good things about this man. I wish I knew more people that I could tell spread the word to. Dan added 2 airconditioning systems to my home which I was told by some of the bigger companies could not be done, he not only designed the systems and duct work but installed them personally and I now have the coolest house on the block, all the neighbors want to come to my house because it is so comfortable in the extreme heat. Although he is very busy and sought after he makes us feel like we are his only customer, he gives personal attention to every detail and we highly recommend him to anyone who wants a professionally installed heating or airconditioning system.
