  Dan,Also ripped off other families.Dan left a lean on one couples home,Dan also left a couples home after they gave him a draw of $50,000.00. Yeah Daniel A. McCord took their money and walked out.They have been trying to build their home for over a year! There is a subcontractor that also has not been paid.What Dan has done is aweful.Dan took our $67,000.00 & then lied to us,by telling us that his Mother was dying then dead. All so he could not get caught right away.We are all wondering exactly what has Daniel A.McCord done with ALL the money the he took? We only got a bad subfloor that is NOT TO CODE! I can only guess that we will find those answers in the court of law.We will have our day! So will all the other families that Daniel A.McCord lied to.Thank you to all the people that contacted us.Your help has been Great!

  This contractor is Horrible.His carpentry skills are the worst Ive ever seen.I know of Two couples that Dan McCord just walked away with their money. It was over $100,000.00. If they cant put this wacko in jail well then I guess evrryone should worry ehen they pay a contractor.The guy even told the people that his Mom died.Thats fricken low.O guess there is all kinds of low lifes out there.Mccord should be locked up!

  We hired Daniel A. McCord Dec.17th. 2010. Our first draw was $67,000 00.AFTER WE GAVE DAN THE MONEY, THE EMAILS ALL BUT STOPPED,AND THE EXCUSES BEGAN......FRIEND DIED.NIECE BORN,ACCIDENT,COLD,BACK INJURY,...APRIL 15th.Our basement was finished an we were ready to go! Dan was a no show....We then got a call from Daniel A. McCord's assoc. Shane Tunbridge. Shane informed us that "Dan was going through something that know man should have to go through" Mmmmm We thought Geez What now?? Well finally Dan showed up with Basement bill in hand on April 26th, DAN THEN EXPLAINED TO ME THAT HIS MOTHER KATHERN L.McCORD WAS IN A PHILA. HOSPITAL CLINGING TO LIFE....HE TOLD ME THAT HE WAS UP FOR 2 DAYS. DAN EVEN CRIED.....DAN THEN ASKED ME TO WRITE THE BASEMENT CHECK OUT TO HIM. I DIDNT WANT TO GIVE HIM MORE MONEY.WE WERE,ALREADY GETTING WEIRD FEELINGS ABOUT DAN.BUT THEN WE THOUGHT.AHHHHH NOBODY WOULD STEAL $75,842.25 From us.NOT IN THIS DAY AN AGE. Dan would call us and tell us that his mother was going to die. Dan said that he had to stay at her side.we tried to press him a xelivery date.but wed get nothing Dan did promise us a few times that he would start our home.It never would happen.We did give Dan a dead line of June 1st. Dan only would say that he was to much overwelmed by his mothers soon death.We then felt bad,For asking Dan to build our home while his mother was dying!!!! Okay NOW DAN CLAIMS THAT HIS MOTHER KATHERN L.McCORD DIED JUNE 2nd.2011.HER FUNERAL IS JUNE 6th.....Then Dan tells us that he still has things to take of,Dan must get his Mothers things out of the home.And Dan is so UPSET THAT HE HAS TO GO TO THERAPY DAILY. WE GET A LAWYER.DAN PROMISES US AGAIN, AND AGAIN TO START OUR HOME,DAN DID PUT UP A SUB FLOOR,HOWEVER IT IS NOT BUILT TO CODE.!!(we must remove it,Our new builder called it dangerous!!!) WE NEVER GOT OUR LOGS AND DANIEL A. MCCORDS MOTHER IS ALIVE AND WELL. IF IT WAS NOT SO MUCH MONEY THIS COULD SOMEDAY BE A FUNNY STORY.UNFORTUNATELY.DAN HAS HURT ALOT OF PEOPLE.OUR BASEMENT HAS YET TO BE PAID.DAN KEPT THE $8,842.25 CHECK THAT I GAVE HIM FOR THE BASEMENT CONCRETE COMPANY.WE HAVE FILED CRIMAL CHARGES. SO FAR WE HAVE LEARNED THAT WE ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES HE HAS DONE THIS TO.IF YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY DANIEL A.McCORD.
