Mr. Frank replaced rails and stained my deck in March 2010. After one year, the rails he replaced were splitting and blistering. I called Mr. Frank and he said the problem was with the lumber he purchased from Lowes. I called twice and both times he promised to come out to fix the problem "next week". He never showed or returned my calls. When he completed the renovation, he gave me six barcoded warranty tags for Lowes Top Choice lumber. However, after a closer look, I discovered the tags were for 5/4 X 6 X 8 lumber and the rails used were 2 X 4's. I would not recommend Daniel Frank Renovations for any remodeling work.
