Working with Daniels Building Co of NC, LLC is the worst experience I ever had with a new construction. There were several items that needed repairing and/or touch ups. The builder Andy signed an additional addendum stating he would complete the list of repairs and touch-ups after closing. It has been 3 months and the owner Andy still has not completed the repairs. The builder stated he had several contractors (electrician, flooring, plumber, etc.) scheduled and on the appointment day no one showed up and he would NOT answer any phone calls or text messages. This has been an ongoing issue over the past 3 months. We have scheduled multiple appointments with the same result. He also holds the 1-year warranty on the home and won’t respond to any emails about a major plumbing/ sewage issue. We have offered to find a general contractor to finish the work if he is willing to pay for it, he refused. We finally reached out to a few general contractors to get quotes. We noticed the vinyl flooring on the main level is already starting to buckle and is wavy. All the contractors’ feedback and quotes show there are MAJOR issues that need to be addressed asap because they will cause additional issues. These include Roofing, electrical, and plumbing. All are covered within her warranty and should NOT be an issue after 3 months on a new construction home.
This has been a horrible experience and if you see this company listed as the builder RUN THE OTHER WAY!
