    Bricktuckpointing, Electrical and Plumbing work
    $21,500

I hired Bobby Clark on 9/27/2021 to complete interior and exterior brick tuckpointing, electric and plumbing work at my property. Bobby requested 30% deposit down - $7166 to "purchase materials and get going". The work was to be completed by code, with applicable permits by 10/31/2021. As of 11/10/2021 Bobby has not completed any of the contracted work, nor obtained permits to complete the work. He has refused to refund my money stating that "this is not how this works". I have filed a police report against Robert Clark and am pursuing legal actions against this business. This contractor is not reputable and can not be trusted. I should have trusted the reviews here and never hired this contractor.

I had a similar experience to Jessica R. Mr. Clark will not keep his word, and will switch materials on you in the flick of an eye. He underbids the competition and lists premium materials in the contract only to report, "not available" and goes to Lowes or Home Depot and gets cheap materials and substitutes.
I won a lawsuit against him for a lousy shed he built. I tried to get settlement for the fence as well, but did not have enough documentation for the Court.
So, if you're thinking of hiring Bobby Clark - Daniel's Designs, BEWARE. The contract means nothing. He'll do what he wants and if you don't have enough evidence he'll deny everything (even in Court). Keep daily log sheets, photos, emails, and texts of all activity. NOT RECOMMENDED. I'll report on the Shed fiasco later as some of the final items are pending, and I have not collected on the decision in my favor, so that issue will be saved for later.

    fence

Bobby and his crew did a great job building a privacy fence and 4 foot fence on my property. They went the extra mile to give me the design I wanted.

I hired Daniel's Designs to remove exsisting windows, put in header, build a wall and install CUSTOM 32x73 inch windows with a lifetime warranty, replace siding in front where wall was built, and unfinished drywall inside. This cost a total of $1763.00 taxes, and clean up included. Bobby said my windows would take 2 weeks. A week and a half later I called for a status update he was ready to start work on Monday 11/6/17 and my husband said he had to take time off from work so we agreed 11/8/17 for a start date. Day 1 - Nick Gonzales showed up at 10 AM, sat in his truck for 30 mins, came inside saw the job to be done, informed my husband he did not have the supplies and had to go to Lowes....(how do you not have supplies??) he was gone for 2 hours, came back worked until 3:30 PM. Day 2 - Nick showed up at 10 AM, sat in truck for 30 mins, came inside, said Bobby's truck broke down and he had to go get him. That took over 4 hours. Nick came back, cut hole in wall for window, cut the electric wire causing us to lose power in living room, and put in a 35x66 inch window. ??? Those aren't the windows I ordered and paid for!! While my husband went to Lowes to get electric wire so that we had lights that night Nick wanted to cut the hole for the next window...that's when I saw my windows were not correct. Next morning I called Bobby who said that the company he gets his windows from were running behind (odd...he never called me to have a conversation about that!) so I had no choice but to accept smaller windows from Home Depot. They aren't custom, cost a lot less than my custom windows and they don't have a lifetime warranty. Day 3 - Nick did not show up until 1:30 PM put in windows. By this time we were beyond aggravated and was assured by Bobby that Nick would not leave until the job was done that day. Day 4 - Nick showed at 9 AM got to work right away, finished the drywall inside, and started to mud the walls. Not sure why he did that since it was not on my contract. He told my husband he wasn't coming on Sunday as he was going to spend the day with his kids....Sunday my husband got up, went to Lowes, and got the items needed to finish the outside siding as rain was moving in and our house was exposed. Monday 11/13/17 - Bobby wanted to come check out the work he was told we wouldn't be home until 5 PM (his day ends at 4) at 3:50 Nick showed up at my house, backed into my driveway, attempted to walk into my house, said he had been fired and wanted his tools. The sheriff was called because he tried to enter my house. As of today, 11/15/17 the job has not been completed, the debris is still outside, we are owed money for out of pocket expenses incurred by Nick that Bobby said he would pay for but has not, and Bobby is refusing to finish the job. He begged us to write a review on Homeadvisor.com since he "lives and dies by those reviews" and when I filed a complaint with them he called us scam artists. He's the one running scams here. I would not recommend him to change a light bulb let alone any actual work that requires experience and professionalism. He's rude, condescending, patronizing and highly unprofessional. I have pictures, and text messages to show his level of incompetence. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH before you think about hiring this company.
