    Kitchen remodel
    $45,000

    We hired Darling Construction for our Kitchen Remodel. It was the worst decision we have ever made. We paid him per contract from the get go. His Sub that was the Forman is Dustin Bohde. He talked a good talk but after a month on the job there were more mistakes than not. They did the electrical wrong, they plumbed it wrong ( which had to be retrenched to get it right the second time). So this whole thing started in Sept. and it was supposed to be done by thanksgiving and the earliest but definitely by Christmas. Well long story short Dustin and Dennis said all the right things to make us trust them until Dustin Bohde textured our walls and did not tape off our BRAND NEW WINDOWS that were 12000.00 and texture got in between and all in the cracks ruining them. At that point we fired him( Dustin ) and told Dennis who at this point has only been to our house in the beginning to get his check. He asked if we would give him the opportunity to make it right and after conversation we agreed to give him a chance. We regret it and if you’re still reading this either stop and DO NOT HIRE DARLING CONSTRUCTION OR hire him and may God be with you. I may seem agree and yes I am but foremost I really don’t want ANYONE TO GO THROUGH THE STRESS THAT WE HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH!! We are now in the 2nd week of January our house is still not done. Dennis ( owner of Darling Construction) owes us 16200.00 because of neglect and him telling us he had “no money and couldn’t pay his subs” and our Kitchen is still NOT DONE!!! The worst part is I am now getting calls from his “subs “ and he is telling them he can’t pay them because we have not paid. If anyone would like to get ahold of me you can email me at [email protected] and I will show you the proof. If you still are thinking about hiring him, well……… I tried to warn you.

    We hired Dennis for a kitchen remodel of a 1950's home...dark, crowded & definitely shabby. Dennis took our ideas and thoughts and came up with a great plan. His main construction team are friendly, neat and accommodating. Dennis also sub-contracts with good people (countertop specialists, cabinets & electrical). My wife & I were very pleased with all the work. We we had questions or concerns, Dennis was quick to respond; we had issues with some painting work and he addressed those issues as a general contractor should. Would hire Darling Construction in the future. I love to cook and I'm so happy with the way our remodel turned out; exceeded my expectations!

    Three weeks in and kitchen remodel project is proceeding smoothly. Beautiful job on cabinets by Garza Cabinets. Great management of subs by Darling and miscellaneous prep work has been of high quality. Communication with Darling has been superb. To date, I'd give Darling Construction an A+.

    Darling Construction and I had a four month project on a home. Dennis was fair priced, and willing to work with my ideas for what I wanted the home to look like. Communication via, text, email, voice was prompt and personable. The crew that Dennis placed on the project were respectful, kind, creative and professional. I would recommend this company without hesitation.
