Even when our year came around Darrell was right there getting all of our issues addressed and did a great job at that. If you use Darrell Kellum you are using a builder that puts his customers first.

  We contracted with Darrell Kellum, Inc..he now uses DKI. We thought we had contracted with the"premier" home builder for this area. We trusted him. That trust was unfounded after we hired a Home Inspector to help figure out why We both got very sick after moving into brand new retirement home.
  The floor joists had copious amounts of various type molds...hence, mold sickness. Darrell deserted our home warranty and lawyered up against us. We are left alone to deal with the mold removal in hopes of regaining our health. Not easy to do when you are elderly.

  house was built his not the buyers why. Cabinets not built my way but his way cabinets wrong color counter tops wrong color. wrong doors on laundry room. Closets not painted to match rooms. Mud work on sheet rock done poorly. Gas log fire place but no lp tank . Drive way done poorly grading of yard real bad water standing everywhere .Wireing of house done under code. House not cleaned at all before move in. After closing found that he had sold part of my land to neighbor that is just wrong . there were many other things not done by code . He does not rank as a good builder in my book
