To add an addendum to the top review. 1. While Dave started out well. As the project went on, it took him longer and longer to get the finishing done. He had other work to do that took time away from my project. The beginning timeline was never kept to. There was a The beginning timeline was never kept to. There was an issue where when they brought in heavy equipment to dig the footers he cut the power from the house to a shed. It wasn’t until the house was completed that I had to keep asking Dave to bring an electrician in to reconnect the power. This should’ve been part of the original project, but Dave wanted more money. He finally brought somebody in and the work was not done to code. If there were electrical issues, it kept blowing the GFI outlet and not the circuit breaker. I had to pay another electrician to fix that work.

Dave hired a guy to do a decking walkway from the street to our front deck. Again, Dave asked for more money, but this was supposed to be part of the original project that he was already paid for.

Here we are 10 years later and that walkway is falling apart. It looks as if this guy used interior grade would to screw the synthetic planks into. He must’ve decided to do this cheaply with interior lumber that was used to build a house. The wood is disintegrating and the deck is falling apart. I do not know the name of the person that he hired, but I now have to pay someone to do the work all over again with quality workmanship.

Dave is currently working on our cottage in the Villas, NJ. His father, Lou DeLosso, designed the project, and so far, we couldn't be happier.

Lou was an amazing architect. He listened to my wish list and worked with us until he was able to get a plan that we wanted. Even though I was a total pain, he worked out any glitches without complaint. He also checks in on the construction, and lets us know if changes need to be made.

Dave and crew are amazing workers. He has kept us informed every step of the way. Since we can't get to the site for weeks at a time, Dave sends us emails and even updates us with photos regularly. I just visited the house, and Dave took the time to walk around the site with me and to answer my questions.

The work is being completed quickly. Dave and crew barely stop to take a break. Even the neighbors have commented about their work ethic. Since hiring a contractor in the area is risky business, I would like to recommend Dave. You won't be disappointed. If you need an architect, Lou is awesome!
