Dave did our windows and siding this past spring. The project was delayed by several weeks due to an injury he had on another job he was doing which is understandable, but he did not overlook the work that his workers were doing. When he was better, he did a shoddy job on installing 2 railings which needed to be re-done. He never came back to finish the outdoor trim painting or wrapping the doors in aluminum. After several attempts at contacting him with no response, I hired someone else to finish the job. But, that's not even the worst part.
The windows were done in May. It is now January and freezing cold air is is pouring in through every window. The new contractor that I hired to finish Dave's job (and remodel my bathroom) took the trim off of one of the windows and sure enough, no insulation or caulking was done...on ANY of our windows. We would have been better off keeping our old windows that were 55 years old!
