    Hired by pool contractor. Pergolas and ramada

    Gong show from the beginning. Hired by our pool contractor or I would have fired him after the first 2 blunders. Dug wrong size footings, had to get variance letter from engineer. Delay. Literally ‘poured’ footings with bag mix and way too much water. Supposed to be 24” x24” x 24” , souped at 24x24 x16 and kicked 8” of dirt over the top, oh and did I mention the posts were 2’ too short??? Tore them all out……… this goes on and on and on. Won’t come back and fix his issues. Save yourself the frustration and hire someone else!!!

    Our pool company had hired this company to build our pergola. We had a very good experience, the pergola looks great and was done timely. Levi who did the build did a great job and was professional.

    We didn't have the experience I hoped for. They ordered the wrong size materials twice which delayed getting started. I was ok with that, we weren't in a rush. The pergola was attached to out patio and it was placed about 2 inches too low so the beam isn't flush with the patio... It was build while we were at home and after the installer already having to start over once b/c it wasn't placed right, we decided to just go with it because we didn't want to have to start all over again. The guy who installed it even said "Yeah I realize it's too low, but eh." I contacted Dave for 3 months to have his crew come back and fill sand where they took up the pavers to lay footers. I was told "next week" each time and after 3 months of trying I gave up. Nobody ever came for that final step and it just never got done. I decided to just do it myself. I knew I shouldn't have submitted the final payment for the project until this was done. Lesson learned. The pergola does overall look nice.

    Do not hire this company and if you are doing a landscape project with another company, make sure they have not contracted any work out to this company. Our landscape company contracted them to build a pergola. Our project just sat and waited for almost one month until they got around to our project, which took their crew only about 3 hours to complete. The materials were decent but the finished product was not straight across, it was arched in the middle and several slats were crooked. I notified our landscape company immediately about our dissatisfaction and sent pictures. It took 2 more months hounding them to come back and look at the job. Dave Logue himself came out and was so unprofessional and rude. Blaming everything under the sun for the cause and never taking any responsibility. He did not hide his displeasure at having to come back. For the very brief time he was here, he would not even stop answering his phone. He then lied for the first time and said he would be back early the next week to fix it. He did not. More hounding of him to honor his work. He lied for the second time and said he came on a certain day to repair it which he did not....he obviously was not aware we have security cameras. His crew finally came today and had the same poor attitude as their boss. I did not back down and it was finally adjusted to something I can live with. So not worth the MONTHS of aggravation!
