John David Popejoy stole $40000 from us to supposedly purchase fence materials. That was back in April. We never heard from him again. We are now pursuing legal and criminal action against him.

Dave did an amazing job on both meet front and back fences, I totally would use him again and recommend him to anyone needing good quality work done!

Dave's Custom Fencing and Repairs/Dave Popejoy also stole money from us as well, although it was much less ($2000). He delayed and delayed and came up with all sorts of excuses as to why he wasn't at the property working (spider bites requiring hospitalization, needing to drive to another state to exchange materials, reactions to medications resulting in eyes being swollen shut, and on and on). He eventually stopped responding and it became clear as time went on and more information was found that he was a scam artist and he played us.

I have no idea how he still has an active license. We are lodging a complaint with the CSLB.
Do not work with him.
