Dave was a huge waste of time. He sent over an employee of his to review the job in the beginning of July. IT was decided that we needed to add a beam into our ceiling. About a week or two after Dave provided a quote. About a week after that we signed his quote and returned it. I told him I would pay the whole project in cash and asked if there was any cash discounts. He offered $1000 off the total for a complete cash payment. we accepted. On August 8th I called him to see where we were at for getting the beam manufactured as he had not picked up the cash yet. HIs employee returned my call only to tell me that they had sent everything to engineering "to see if the size of the beam would work or if they needed to go with a bigger beam. Assuming a bigger beam would be more expensive I asked his employee( as Dave would not answer my calls, texts, or return them ) and his employee said it would be. Why anyone would send me a quote for something that was not confirmed to work shows their true professionalism! after waiting another month to hear back if the beam was going to work. I called again this morning 9-9-20. Again no answer. So I had my wife call from here phone and Dave decided to pick up magically! She filled him in on who she was and asked where we were at with the beam. Dave replied, that he decide to not take on the project and seemed completely OK with wasting two months of our time and failing to call and inform us of this. To bad this site makes you give at least one star. Because Dave @ Dave's custom framing is not worth using even if he was building you a DOG HOUSE. I'd rather build it myself or buy one from Walmart.
