My husband and I purchased a home in October of 2020. After the home inspection, the sellers obtained quotes for the needed repairs. Their realtor also recommended David Ackerman, and since he was able to come out and do a thorough quote in the midst of the pandemic, we thought we would use him for the work. Sadly, we regret that initial decision. David was extremely difficult to communicate with. He took weeks to respond and always gave an excuse about the “crazy holidays.” I finally reached out after Christmas (two months after we started communicating) stating it would be my last time doing so. He responded that he would send me a start date, and then I never heard from him again. About two weeks later, in January, I followed up once more, and I have not gotten a response. In the meantime, other contractors and specialists have come and gone and done a majority of the work for us. I am disappointed at the lack of clear communication and being given the run-around. I would recommend those looking for a builder or contractor look elsewhere.
