    Patio and Deck

    One word: horrible. The contractor demands advance payments far in excess of the license code authorizes. He said our job would take 4-6 weeks to build a deck and patio in our yard. After 10 weeks watching him arrive at the job site between 9-10 and be gone by 2 he ultimately only laid the deck girders and installed posts for the patio. We ultimately parted ways with him when he insisted on more advance payments to complete the job.

    Thankfully, he abandoned the work because since then we've learned from numerous contractors how horrible his work is. The deck footings were not dug in, he didn't use pressure treated wood, his framing wasn't level or properly braced and the contractors we talked to all said it is complete scrap and would have to redo the entire deck.

    This contractor proved himself unethical, violated numerous professional standards, and took thousands from my family. Avoid this guy at all costs!
