    David did an addition on my Mother's house in Canyon Country. He begged for payment in full claiming he needed to pay his guys, and as my mother is elderly he took advantage of her. He left the job incomplete, used substandard materials, and did poor work. The CSLB came out inspected his work, the siding was completely substandard and needs to be ripped out etc. and an estimated $17000.00 in repairs needs to be performed in order for the work to be considered acceptable. This is not including an electrical problem that may or may not be hazardous is identified. On top of this he did not pay his sub contractors although received full payment for the job. My mother and a sub contractor made a complaint against his bond company Old Republic Surety who is going as far as to file a suit against my mother, the sub contractor, and myself in hopes of burying her in paperwork/legal fees to avoid paying the claim. AT ALL COSTS DAVID B. TONEMAN and OLD REPUBLIC SURETY SHOULD BE AVOIDED...... They seem to prey on the elderly!!!!

    Disastrous, do not use him. Work under par, still not completed satisfactorily. Contract signed April 30th. David doesn't supervise, doesn't respond to phone calls and walks away. Even though he can't pay employee's salaries don't pay him until he has completed the job satisfactorily.
