Our original interactions with Mr. Melsh were pleasant and we found him easy to deal with. After meeting with him to discuss our needs for our surgical center, we agreed to have 2 new Gast Vacuum Head V108 series 1.5 HP installed, as well as removing the existing heads, replacing the broken drive on the motor, replacing all filters with new ones and testing the unit for proper operation.
Less than a month later, the vacuum pump stopped working. We notified him both via text message and calling. Around 10 days later, we sent a follow up message to address the situation. We had received a second opinion on the installation and found that the brown vanes that were installed were meant to be in a lubricated system and as a result, had caused the system to stop working.
After offering to provide evidence of the fault and second opinion, respectfully requested a refund of the service. We then received a message from David where he stated that this was not a problem and that we would just need to give the vacuum heads back.
Following this communication stating that we would be getting a refund we have been unable to reach David. Our goal was to come to a quick resolution to avoid any further delay. Despite the significant impact to our business, we were only looking to recoup the investment of the faulty installation.
As a business ourselves that is very much focussed on 'customer' experience, it has been extremely disappointing to see David not standing by the quality of his work and actively avoiding coming to a resolution.
