    Bathroom Renovation

    David Pachucki is a SCAMMER! Stay way! Agreed to work, signed a contract and then took the money and ran. Background check reviled him having multiple judgements against him. Police is currently looking for this person.

    I had a horrible experience with this man. My roof ran over budget by a couple of $1000 easily and after that he asked for another $4000 advance.

    After letting him go and watching rain pouring in from a roof he said was finished, I had to call in other contractors to finish the job and repair and replace a $1000 gutter that he tore down .

    One of his crew was using the gutter to pull Himself on to the roof because there was no ladder provided by Dave.

    No one ever seemed to have any tools or seem to show up on time or at all.

    I ended up having to spend another $3000 to finish the roof and to have the sheet rock completely tore out that he was supposed to do. And the $1000 gutter that his crew destroyed.

    I ended up giving his tools to one of his crew and supposedly they ran off with it all.

    Asked him for a quote on my rental, quotes me 5700 dollars to paint. Described the house an in pieces. I was shocked and said No, he lowered it 3700 red flags right there.. never gave me an itemized list kept telling me he would do things I didn’t ask for.. he had my key and I kept asking for it back since I wanted other quotes- he pretended he went away and that someone else was answering his phone. Tomorrow it will be one week this man is holding my house hostage. I got someone else to do the work for 1800 bucks this guy is insane. He works out of scranton, pa.

    This man lied and I just hired a lawyer to recoup my losses from this lying cheat of Philadelphia. This man quoted me a price of 7,500 and did not do what he was hired to do. He did not buy headers, did no brick work and ran off with $3,700 of my money. Further, he WILL LIE AND TELL YOU THAT HE PULLED PERMITS, ETC! DO NOT USE THIS SO CALLED CONTRACTOR!! This has caused me undue stress and extra money just hired a lawyer but I intend to sue this phony, lying contractor until he is out of business which I hopes happens sooner than later. It has been 4 months and this man ran off with my money!!

    I hired David to do my 2-story addition including demolishing an old one and build a new one on top. David is a dishonest person. He will lie to get your money. He brought his workers to work somewhere else during your project. There was a time no one showed up for a week. His excuses were always his sickness, or family emergency. This is my first fix and flip and I already feel the pain.

    To start off with, he couldn't pull the permit in center city, but didn't inform with me.
    He went a head and demolish the house to build a new addition. The drawing required to have a footer, but he skipped it and went ahead to build blocks only. The foundation width was short 3 feet. The frame of the addition went over the other property lot. He delayed my project multiple times and denied to seal the roof of the house. After 4 rains, my house had water everywhere.

    My inspection came in and found out more than 10 violations including no fire walls, wrong header for windows and sliding door, no supporting pole for new stair, wrong recessed light type, leaking, weak foundation, wrong siding, unsecured structure etc. He said he owns a plumbing company but his plumbing work is sloppy. He cut the whole stud for the drain and left it unsecured.

    He hired electricians without pulling any permit. They did a horrible job on putting the recessed lights and outlets for brick wall. The wiring for my electrical panel was a mess.

    The bottom line is that he is just a plumber with a little bit knowledge of construction and lie to you to get money. He threatened me to stop the project even though I paid him enough and showed him all of the payments. HE IS A LIAR. After 4 months in the project, the house is still not in a good shape. I have to pay extra $15,000 to fix the violations otherwise the city will tear down my $40,000 addition due to his sloppy job.

    Robin, We are fixing what your other contractor did. I had to remove every window, frame every window and put back windows. Had to go and find special lintel for window to put all the brick that fell out do to your old contractor. I have every receipt and man hours for this job. Can not do brick work in rain. Had to have steal lintels cut yesterday to fit your Windows. You should call us before you pass judgment.
