  First, I do not believe the veracity of the first cited review. This particular plumber is no five-star contractor. After his installation of two bathrooms and plumbing throughout our new house, we have had nothing but problems. In retrospect, it would have been preferable to hire someone more competent even if they were significantly more expensive. Within the first few months, the downstairs shower leaked into the basement. Around the same time the outdoor spigot was discovered to be broken. And within one year, we noticed water appearing on our first floor ceiling from the upstairs tub-shower combination. Receiving no satisfaction from Madden, we have had to hire alternative plumbers to fix the damage. One plumber's observation was that Madden used the wrong substance to seal the drains. His wife seems to fancy herself as a lawyer in defending her husband's plumbing skills, or more technically his lack of skills. We had considered a lawsuit, but eventually decided to simply wash our hands of them for good.

  George Madden and the crew that works with Madden Plumbing and Heating were stellar! They were neat and tidy and the project came out just as I imagined! Would highly recommend Madden Plumbing and Heating from fixing your leaking sink to building you a new house.

  We built a new house and Madden did all of the plumbimg. When we took our first shower we had a major leak in the bathroom through the floor into our kitchen. Ever since then We've had nothing but trouble with our plumbing issues. We've had repeated issues with the furnace especially. Even though we were frustrated by this we were even more so with the plumbers repeated non return of phone calls after repeated attempts. It was 7 degrees outside without heat in our house and he would never call back. Never had so many issues on older houses as I have with this new house that this plummer had direct control with. His follow through is pretty terrible. Would definitely not recommend him!
