  They took a deposit from me and scheduled my driveway asphalt installation project. The city shut down the project because the company didn’t pull the proper permits. When I got my permits (I had to get them own my own), I called them to finish and they promised me countless times they would come back and finish the job but they never did. Oh, and the day they started the job, they left behind piles of heavy cement from the wall they had to tear down to install the driveway and, they I had to pay $300 to have someone else break the stones up with a sledge hammer and haul them away. These guys do bad business.

  Driveway repave/widening

  $3,900

  1) I wish i had taken the poor reviews more seriously... because i feel that i have had an experience that duplicates them, and i could have avoided it.
  2) I spent almost $4k on having my driveway repaved AND expanded/widened. Appeared very well done at first. But within a short time (<2 months) i had indentations from parking/driving, AND i could see where the expansion sections where they laid a new base layer (as compared to where there was previously existing driveway) seemed to settle. We followed all of their instructions AND did not put a car on the driveway for over 3 weeks. So, consider the driveway went 3 weeks with no traffic, and then within 3 weeks of parking on it, we had issues... i would not call that quality workmanship.
  3) Worst part... customer service. as soon as i had issues, i reached out to TJ... who sold me the work. It has been 2 months since i reached out, and i have yet to see someone come out to check it and speak with me. They never schedule to come out, but then say they stopped by when no one is home. What kind of business does that? AND the last communication i got was to tell me i would be better off not having it fixed... that it will only look worse. I had several other companies recommended to me, but went with DB paving because a friend recommended them based on a relationship, not actual work done. I made a mistake in choosing them.
  4) Be careful of any glowing reviews you read on other sites. I don't know all the employees, but i have seen on another site where TJ has posted a 5 star review without disclosing that he works for the company.

  Pave driveway

  Scam artist.

  They are a total scam company. They took advantage of my mom. For a 600 foot driveway with more than a few curves, they only made the driveway barely 8 feet wide resulting in trucks and landscape trailers to go off of the edge constantly resulting in dozens of cracks. The black top is so thin, weeds started growing within 3 months. They must be proud to scam older people.

  DB Paving, owner David Boswell, is a rip off. Our driveway is 8 months old and is already cracking around the edges. Grass is growing through and it won't last 5 years. After 2 months and many phone calls they have yet come out to fix the problem. Just keep getting jerked around. The promise of "quality service" is a scam to get your money. DON'T USE them. take your hard earned money elsewhere.
